Upon my arrival to Ko Phi Phi Don, as soon as I stepped from the pier, we were greeted by locals offering us taxi boats and accommodation. With no hostel booked, we were very inclined to see what the offers were. Straight away we asked for the cheapest. We were shown ‘The Scenery Guest House’ a private room for 250 baht! Perfect! We were expecting to pay 300 baht a night each for a dorm so this was perfect!
The Scenery Guest House was located up a set of stairs (the same stairs leading to the Phi Phi viewpoint) this meant that the views from the place would be great! With a treehouse architecture, I was really happy with the accommodation we had found! Our room didn’t have air con but the fan was just as good. Many places in Thailand do not offer hot water, this place didn’t. But I love a cold shower in the hot climates so I wasn’t too bothered by this!
I would definitely recommend staying at The Scenery Guest House. It’s affordable, a 5 minute walk from the beach, and located right in the town!
(I’m terrible, the photos of the view are on my camera – all to come)
