So, I posted a couple of photos a couple of weeks ago of some days out that my sister Alexia and I were enjoying. She was supposed to come for 8 days but booked a flight to leave a day later due to the weather not being top notch! It gave us more time to both relax and also see more sites! Alexia got to meet all my friends aswell which was really nice! 🙂
We went to Burger Lobby which had recently opened up where I lived – it did not disappoint! Hoping to fit in another visit before I leave!
Alexia in Retiro Parque
Hired bikes from Rent and Roll for 3 hours and cycled round the whole of Retiro. I saw parts I had never seen before! We stopped for a picnic and the weather wasn’t too hot so it was really nice!
Finally got to visit San Gines for the best churros in Madrid! I think it was just €3.50 for 6! a bargain!! they were delicious!!! A perfect breakfast after an early start for the El Rastro market!
Casa de Campo boats! I had never been to Casa de Campo properly before so it was a good change! We hired the boats which was much better than retiro as there was no risk of us crashing into anyone as it wasn’t as busy! We then took a half an hour walk over to the Teleferico to ride the cable cars towards Parque Oeste! Alexia is a bit scared of heights but she enjoyed it in the end!
