Today I went back to Matadero to check out an exhibition. I wanted to check it out on my last visit but it doesn’t open till late afternoon for some reason. This exhibition was all about the history of journalism in Spain from 1940. Artefacts of some of the most important global events were featured including 9/11, the shooting of JFK and even smaller things such as Spanish football news.
Also on display were the televisions, radios and cameras that the EFE have used over the past 75 years. One room was set up to look like a dark room, even with the correct lighting. In here were many cameras, enlargers, artificial chemicals and processed negatives. It was cooool! (i miss the darkroom)
